Lomography exhibition “Lomography in Baltic colours”
This White Night culture node Dirty Deal in collaboration with Baltic Lomography association will present the largest lomography* exhibition in Latvia so far – lomo wall „Lomography in Baltic colours”. The exhibition will bring together 3240 pictures made by the members of Baltic Lomography association. The exhibition will be opened on September 12th at 20:00 in the exhibition space Dirty Deal Expo (Maskavas street 12/k2) and will be available to the public until September 26th.
First lomography exhibition with 2000 pictures was opened in Andrejsala in July 12th, 2007.
The Lomographic Society is a globally active organization dedicated to experimental and creative snapshot photography. The idea of Lomography encompasses an interactive, vivid, blurred and crazy way of life, using photography as a creative approach to communicate, absorb and capture the world.
* The term “lomography” refers to a vast international community of photography enthusiasts that take pictures with the legendary Lomo cameras.
